HIV Test Pre Existing Immunodeficiency

Dear diver58,RubyWitch,CurfewX or other member/mods.

I am asking kind of questions that might bothering (but i believe it will gives some relieves ) for those who are suffering from hiv anxiety.

1. I have read that some condition might affect HIV test, for example someone whom undergone cancer chemotherapy, IV drug user, PEP/PREP user, or a person with pre existing immunodeficieny. Is there any other condition beside these 4 factors?

2. What is exactly variant of that immunodeficiency which might affect HIV test? Cmiiw, pre existing immunodeficiency condition itself consists more than dozen diseases/conditions, does long term sinusitis, eczema or allergies affect hiv test? How about Crohns?

3. If pre-existing immunodeficiency might affect hiv test, which test will be affected? 4th gen or 3rd gen (rapid, lab)? If someone already passed window period (4 weeks for 4th gen or 90 days from old 3rd gen), does the test still reliable?

4. If there are some condition might affect HIV test, why does it not stated on most testing guideline? Even an official agency like CDC doesnt put it on general info page.

5. If someone, by particularly has a cancer but he/she doesnt aware because the cancer itself is at early phase, does it still affect HIV test?

I am sorry if my questions is seemed 'to much'. I am asking on behalf of curiosity and need scientific  answers. Please kindly, kindly answer my question. I myself dont have any exposure/risk. I just believe maybe someone out there have these kind of questions and your generous answers will get rid their anxiety.

Thanks

Seek therap. No one here can provide the one on one discussion that you need to deal with your anxiety which at this point is a bit of a mental illness.
This forum exists for personal risk assessment and testing advice.  It does not exist to answer hypothetical questions that do not apply to you, nor to provide comprehensive scientific training regarding HIV testing.
anxious. you know why i didnt mention your name on recipient? because i know your typical answer will be.

have you consider how many people who are really seek the theurapist after you mentioned it they should do? thats because your language of answer.

oh come on, many hiv anxiety person out there will not come here again to bothering you with redundant question if you provide them with generous-explanative asnwers rather than always simply by template.

and like i said before i dont have any hiv concern anymore. i myself have  tested on 45days and 100 days with nonreactive result, why would i do have a concern anymore? it was solely based on scientific curiosity.

really no offence, please kindly consider those as a suggestion to you. i DO really appreciate your contribution on this forum. please accept my suggestion as a friendly suggestion.

NOTHING will help people with HIV anxiety apart from professional mental health counseling.  This is a ridiculous list of hypothetical questions, and I for one am not going to entertain them in the name of ridding you of HIV anxiety.

If this is all about the same no-risk event you had about 6 months ago, it is time to move on.  You don't have HIV.

Any immunodeficiency serious enough to even possibly interfere with the test would not be unknown to the person.  They would be under medical care and be experiencing very negative health effects.  Having cancer, alone, would not affect the test.

It depends, what was your risk, oral, anal or vaginal and did you use a condom?

I just noticed that you have no risk.
Seek therapy because you have already been advised what the risks for hiv are. No one here can provide the one on one discussion that you need to deal with your anxiety which at this point is a bit of a mental illness.
