HIV Tests

hi all.
first of all let me apologize for my bad english.
i have had some questions in my mind regarding hiv tests.

after 31 days of risky encounter (unprotected sex) i went to a hospital and asked for a 4th generation HIV test. unfortunately they didn't offer this kind of test but performed p24 antigen and antibody HIV test separately. so i did take this two kind of tests separately and result came back as below :
HIV-p24 AG : Negative
Anti-HIV AB (1,2) : Negative

1) i was wondering if result of this two tests is same as duo(combo)? because they performed separately not as 4th generation. does Performing the tests separately have any impact on the results?


then on the 33th & 57th days i did two another tests. this was SD Bioline HIV 1/2 3.0 Rapid test.
the result of that two tests was negative too.

2) how conclusive are my tests results? can i have expect a Negative test result in 12 weeks mark? do i have even need to re-test?

3)does low or high risk encounter have a role in sero-conversion?

You are conclusively negative.  You do not have HIV. The level of risk has nothing to do with the timing of the test.  Three of us have now told you your test is conclusive - time to move on from this event.

So, I'm not anxiousnomore but will try to answer.  You've tested negative at 28, 33 and 57 days post exposure?  All negative?  That's good news.  That means you are negative!  On the question regarding 28 days and the separate tests, those two tests do look for the same thing as the duo and both were negative.  The two tests combined give you the same information as the Duo so you should consider it the same as a negative Duo result. To make sure those negatives were accurate, you followed up with further testing  almost 8 weeks out and still negative.  You should relax and move past this.

What kind of unprotected sex did you have?

it was anal. i'm a hetrosexual. she was not a CSW or prustitue.actually she is someone that i know. i asked her about her STD status twice and she told me there is nothing to worry about.
and sir , can you answer my first question? it's important for me!
