HIV and STDs risk from visit to Prostitute?

Hello Community and Doctors,

I visited a Thai sex worker two days ago originally just for a back oil massage and handjob. At first, it was pretty routine as I first showered and then she gave me an oil massage. One thing led to another she stripped off her top and started rubbing her breast all over my body. We then got involved into deep kissing. She gave me a handjob but wanted to give me unprotected oral sex. I declined, however, she started licking my testicles and even licked a bit on the shaft and tip of my penis. My penis didn't enter her mouth though. I started fingering her vagina a bit. We eventually got into sex. She helped put on the condom for me and I even checked the expiry date for the condom. We had protected penetrative vaginal sex. It didn't last very long and when I finished I checked and the condom didn't break and was still intact.

However, as I was pulling the condom off my penis my fingers may have touched the vaginal fluid(if there was any) on the condom. I also previously fingered her. My concern is, while it's doubtful that she did have HIV, the same hand I used to pull off the condom and finger her is the same hand I used to masturbate again on top of her just a few minutes after I came the first time. I just hoped that none of her fluid ever touched my bare penis.

Should I get tested within three months or after three months since my exposure? Any of the activities I have described pose risks for HIV or any other STDs? Any opinions or advice are greatly appreciated!

Thank You,

You had no HIV risk and a test will be a waste of time.

HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex
3. sharing needles that you inject with. Knowing these 3 are all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV. Your situation is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established so there is no detail that you can add that will make any of your encounter a risk for HIV.  No one in 40 years of HIV history got HIV from the situation you are concerned about so it is unlikely that it will happen in the next 40 of your lifetime either.
