HIV exposure

5 hours ago I had protected sex with a Vietnamese sex worker in South Korea. As we were having sex the sensation got stronger and stronger and finally I ejaculated. I was really careful with the condom however unfortunately when I pulled out I noticed when the sensation was so good. The condom had ripped and the head of my penis was exposed. I am now going through extreme anxiety and can't sleep. I realize the chances are really low that a heterosexual male living in South Korea will even been exposed to the virus. And worst case scenario even if she had the virus that chances are slim I contracted anything. I will of course get tested in 40 days. But I am beside myself with worry now. Any advice would be much appreciated

If it has been less than 72 hours since the condom broke, go to an emergency room and discuss starting PEP treatment. Yes, your chances may be slim, but your risk is still real.

I am in south korea and there is no PEP available
Then I recommend you test at 28 days post exposure with a 4th generation DUO. This test will not be conclusive, but will give you a good indication of your status. A 12 week confirmatory test will be conclusive. I wish you the best
Thank you very much. In your experience is everything going to be alright?
you can get PEP in Singapore
I would be doing you a great disservice if I told you "everything was going to be alright." Regardless of "statistical chance theory," you still had a risk.....I can't change that fact. Get on PEP if you are still within the 72 hour window period or test at the appropriate times. Again, I wish you the best outcome.
