HIV immune response

I had sex with a condom that slipped off near the end of intercourse. I have since tested negative with duo tests at 6, 12, 16 and 20 weeks. I would say I have generally good health. What I am concerned about is that I have read recently that some conditions can affect antibody production in the body. Now I am panicking about this scenario that my body may not build the specific antibodies that are detected on duo tests. If my body had not produced antibodies, would the p24 protein still be detectable as I have read this is produced no matter if you can produce antibodies or not. Would it be a good idea to have a full blood count carried out to find out if I do have any immune deficiency that would prevent antibodies forming?

So, I know i am most likely over reacting but for peace of mind would it be advisable to have a PCR test carried out to go along with my negative antibody tests! I am finding it increasingly difficult to believe the results just incase I have negative reaction to the antibody tests that does nit pick up anything.

You have nothing wrong with your immune system.

I have read a number of post from Dr hook and Dr HHH that stated immune disorders could prevent antibodies being produced but unsure if these could go undetected or you would be severely ill. Also with regards to p24, I read it binds with antibodies and that is only when it will disappear. I just wanted to clarify these statements for some further peace of mind.  Would no other form of testing be recommended for myself to check for virus itself or to check for any immunoglobulin deficiency?

No you did not read that here. Because even people with compromised immune system produce antibodies, just may take longer.

p24 is detectable up until about 28 days.

I have read the doctors on this forum mention scenarios where people can't produce antibodies due to immune system disorders etc. Is this common and could these disorders go undetected. I'm so worried I may not be able to produce them. As I asked before in this scenario would p24 still be detectable

Those stories are form the 80's and stuff like that before real good testing happened. Everyone produces antibodies.

Thank you for the quick reply, I  understand from what I tell you it seems highly unlikely I caught anything but having read about cases of no antibodies produced I am having severe anxiety issues. Would the P24 be detectable if antibodies were not being produced as I read that antibodies bind with p24 and that is the point  p24 becomes undetectable? I am extremely scared to have sex with anyone anymore due to this now. Would a blood count or PCR test help to back up the results in any way. Also if I was not producing antibodies and was infected, would I have infections and be quite constantly unwell ?
