HIV question, would this affect the antibodies?

I had a exposure in late October.
I posted back on this site before.
I got a hiv test at 13.5 weeks and it came back negative.
I went to my homeopathic doctor, he said my immune system is down and my hormones are out of control.
he said there was a parasite in my colon. (my groin is swollen) I'm now doing a parasitic cleanse to get rid of it.
I'm just wondering if I did catch a parasite + hiv at the same time would it affect the antibodies test / widow period?
because I know parasites can effect the immune system. please help! thank you.

The chance of acquiring an intestinal parasite in a developed nation is extremely improbable. It didn't affect your test. Negative is negative!

your right, parasites can effect the immune system, and have been to trigger an immune response, antibodies, and cause a false positive.you, however had a negative result past the conclusive hiv window period of 3months,your fine.
