Hiv through cut on scrotum

Hi Doc,

I have had a protected sex with a sex worker. But the day before that day i got a small cut on my scrotum while trimming my private part using trimmer. The cut was not covered with condom and there might be case where vaginal fluid came in contact with the cut.

Is there any risk of HIV transmission through the cut.

Not sure whether the cut had pus.

Such a cut is superficial. Your cut had to be deep and bleeding at the same time. And then still no risk if that would be the case, because the vaginal fluid wasn't infectious anymore if the girl would be hiv+.  No risk at all

How come the vaginal fluid wasn't infectious.
Air inactivates the virus.  This is why transmission does not take place outside the body.  You had no risk.

Not a risk for HIV transmission. This virus can't be transmitted outside of the body. Testing is not necessary.
