Question about ulcers

Hey guys quick question.  So I've not had sex for over a year (religious reasons) and got tested seven months after the last time as part of a standard physical.  Anyway I was out with this new girl about a week ago and we made out a bit.  It was open mouth kissing and although the tounges did touch they never actually entered the others mouth.  I had a pretty bad ulser (canker sore) athe the back of my mouth close to my tonsil.  I was wondering if there would be any chance of HIV infection by the ulser coming in contact with her saliva or with any blood she may have had in her mouth.  Would blood to ulser cause it and how much blood would there have to be?  Is testing warranted or is there no risk?  Thanks guys
