HIV signs after 1 stupid mistake

Hi

I recently had protected sex with a transexual escort. I was on bottom.
We were both protected, but I am starting to doubt that the condom was kept intact and am getting worried.
I have been to a clinic and had testing done, this was 2 days after the event so I know i need to go back in a month and in 3 months.
Yesterday (4 days after the event) i noticed a rash on both arms, from shoulder to elbow and I am now freaking out. I have no other symptoms except for a constant dry mouth even though i keep drinking water and an occasional itch that seems to move all over my body.

I don;t know whether this is caused by me worrying so much or if there is something more sinister lurking.

All the websites seem to say symptoms occur 2 weeks after, but is this rash after 4 days a sign?

Thanks

Remember that protected sex is not a risk for infection.  Testing is simply for peace of mind.  Is your test a DUO? Or a regular antibody?

Hi, i am at the 18 day point now and have a test booked in for tomorrow. My arm rash has gone away slightly, but still there although I agree now that I was probably worried for no reason.
More worryingly though is a rash on my cheeks that appeared last week, so after about 10 or 11 days. It is freaking me out but i have no other symptoms so think it is probably unrelated. Anyway i'll let you know how i get on tomorrow. Thanks for all of your responses

Yep that you wore a condom protected you from HIV.

Congratulations.

Sorry, forgot to add. If you wore a condom through out, then you had no risk.

Also, if you take a 4th generation HIV test, it will be considered conclusive between 3-4 weeks (I suggest at 4 weeks better)
