HIV test conclusive From unprotected receptive anal sex?
Hi Teak and everyone in this forum. I don't understand why some doctors recommended eight weeks and some three months and some six months. Let say if eight weeks negative then positive at three months who responsible for this matter? Or if three months negative then turn out positive at six months who responsible for this? Why all specialists and doctors not unanimously to set one conclusive window period or maximum conclusive window period? And what is the real windows period at the moment with high risk expose? Thanks!!!
Because not every doctor is a hiv specialist and not every doctor knows the mecahnics of the test. 4th gen test 28 days beyond are conclusive. 3rd gen test at 6 weeks.

But U.S. Government also recommended three months conclusive with any generations? I tested at five weeks with rapid blood test and my partner tested one day before sex and negative result. Do you think my five weeks negative wik change at eight weeks or three months?
