As stated in your other post (please don't continue to create multiple posts) there are specific risks for hiv. Your job going forward is to compare your worry to the risk list and if they don't match, let it go and move on. Risks: unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV drug needles to inject drugs. That's it. And this is an anxiety driven concern (animal scratches a person with hiv and then you --  irrational). If you have anxiety, this is treatable condition.

Actually Im asking such, worrying that I might put my family at risk before I can rule myself out from being infected with HIV. (From the previous post I’m just 2 weeks post pep and my HIV test result is yet to be conclusive) As we have pets at home, rabbits to be exact, they are hyper active and like to jump on us so that we would pet them. When they jump on me, their nails tends to scratch me lead me to bleed then following jumping on my other family members. It always happen when all of us are sitting together. There comes those naughties and hurt almost everyone of us. Thats the reason why I’m worried. Since then I try my very best avoiding them from jumping on me.

Im sorry for multiple post.

Actually would like to include this in my other post but i could not find the edit button. New to the platform.

And since Im creating a new post hence I put the question the other way around. Instead of saying scratched me then my family members.

I just simply hope that someone could assure me that HIV doesn’t work this way.

At least I could feel comfortable again having my pets and my family members around together.

Anyway, thank you for your answer. Appreciate that.
The answer would apply to anyone and all situations, scratches do not ever transmit hiv. But I must say that you mention HIV phobia which does seem to be the case and anxiety is a disorder that doctors and therapists treat.
Yeah am arranging to meet one of the therapist in town. Hope things will go well. Thank you once again. And happy halloween.
