HIV transmission from cut

Hey, I got cuts from carrying a package by its plastic tape which was sharp. The cut was small, it did bleed for few minutes. I am worried that when the delivery guy handed over it to me, what if he also got similar cuts and his blood might be on the plastic tape. Is it possible to get HIV like this? Please help.

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

NOTHING else you can think of would put you at risk for HIV, including the event you describe.  There is no "what if" that you can add to this event that would make it a risk for HIV.

Thank you so much! I've an anexity which makes matter worse. Just to be clear, even if the delivery man had cuts that bleed while handing the parcel over to me, I should be 100%  sure that I am fine with no need of test, right?
Reread the advice. You have effectively repeated it while adding question marks to it.
Thank you, guys! Doing amazing work.
