HIV transmission through protected sex with a hooker

Hello,

I will try to cut it short, I kissed 2 sex workers in Thailand 7 months ago, was just for a couple of seconds but a tongue was used once then I had protected sex with a prostitute one day afterwards, we did have deep kissing including using tongue and it lasted for seconds as well. It is quite hard to remember if I had any bleeding gums, sores or anything on my lip or mouth at that time. I did get simplex herpes after my trip on my lip a couple of days afterwards and some on/off flu that lasted for a couple of weeks (mentioning it was flu season and had lots of colleagues at work who had the same). I had no idea that kissing could lead to having HSV and HIV, other than the herpes on my lip and the cold I do not have any signs of any STDs, since then I have been reading like hell about STDs and worried sick to check myself for any viruses. Knowing that Thailand is one of the highest rates in the world of HIV because of the drugs and prostitution.

My question is, does any of the above sound like some serious virus early symptoms? and do I have to check myself, I am worried sick to check myself...

Thank you for your patience and help.

It is not surprising that those girls gave you herpes (and likely those girls were also the source of your flu) from kissing. These girls probably kiss 100 guys a week so would be loaded with any flu going around. Or, unless you lived in a bubble, you got flu from a doorknob that someone coughed on then you didn't wash your hands.

Only sex risks for HIV are unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal which you didn't do. Ergo you can't have HIV.

What if there was a cut on my lip or inside my mouth? wouldn't that give a chance to catch the virus?
Reread the advice focusing on the word only until the full meaning is clear, rather than rephrasing your question for no useful purpose.
Alright, thank you so much AnxiousNoMore :) I actually feel better after reading your answer, NEVER AGAIN! WONT DO THAT lol
Everyone who has cold sores got it from kissing the wrong person and a research doctor told me he had an employee who had never had a cold sore but always had such a high viral count that they swabbed her mouth whenever they wanted to do an experiment. So don't beat yourself up about that either.
well for the Herpes I got shocked as I was so cautious to not catch it in any way possible, but when I found it, I just hoped this is the worst that entered my body and nothing more than this..
My step kid had it before he was 10 so the wrong person kissed him too.
