Hand job risk in massage center

Dear experts,

I have receive handjob from a lady, possible HIV+. It’s kinda vigorous handjob and her hand felt rough. I forgot to check her hand for any cut or sores. I had no contact with her private parts. Please note, I’m a virgin, I have never felt vagina yet.

Fast forward 4weeks, I developed sore throat, dry coughing, fatigue, and swollen lymph node under armpit. Visited dr, told about my exposure, according to him, there is low risk since I’m uncircumcised. Scheduled me for testing after 2months.   This freak the hell out of me. I always abstain from penetrative sex since I know it’s high risk, but didn’t know that even handjob can possible expose me with HIV. Have you came across anyone infected with handjob?

As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

If you don't do either of those activities, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.  Nothing else you can think of, including the activities you described, is a risk for HIV.  No one has ever contracted HIV from a handjob, and you will not be the first.

I have no idea why you're being tested.  You did NOT get HIV from this event.

Thank you for your reply. It’s a great comfort to hear that. Apparently, I being call for testing, because I was having swollen lymph node, and the doctor thinks I had a low risk due to the handjob since I’m uncircumcised.
Is it save for me to move on and just ignore the doctor.
You need a better doctor.

HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal sex or sharing needles that you inject with. This sentence is all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching or oral activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established.
No one got HIV from touching or oral activities in 40 years of HIV history, so likely no one will in the next 40 years of your life either.
