High risk,Tonsillitis and worried

I had an extreme (Unprotected virginal sex with infected partner)exposure about 12 weeks ago, immediately went on nPEP within 24 hours, finished my nPEP more than 6 weeks ago,i last tested using antibody test at juss more than 10 weeks from exposure and just more than 4 weeks after last dose of nPEP and was negative( i prolonged my nPEP,took it for 6 weeks unsteady of 4 week out of ignorance thinking it might help)

my problem is since week 4 after exposure i have been having a mild sore throat, and this sore throat has developed into tonsillitis, and at one time my tongue was white(Thrush maybe) which i have upto now lasting now close to 8 weeks,i have gone to see a doctor recently and she did a test for Mono and was negative but she gave me antibiotics to use but only thrush cleared but still have tonsillitis, went back to her again and she did an inflammation test and said all is normal and gave me another different dose of antibiotics i am using now and she said if it persist after that last dose,i need to see a specialist.

My question is, 1.Is This tonsillitis linked to HIV,if so can an antibody test detect it at the time frame i mentioned and how long should the tonsillitis last?

Scared and worried

ARS does not come with a single symptom and it's actually a sore throat is the symptom.

Thanx mate, for the advice but i have seen on Internet tht that they can be a sign of ARS,and also why is it they persisted after a dose of antibiotics?normally they say they are supposed to clear on their own unless you have a compromised immune system(HIV  Infected)can you please assist there.

You require an HIV test 3 months after your last dose of nPEP.Your tonsillitis has nothing to do with HIV.
