Why does everyone on this forum state a 4th gen hiv test is conclusive at 4 weeks when in fact CDC states 45 days.

To clarify, the cdc does say 45 days now, however tests do not change after 28.

No, but I keep following the forum and noticed that people are advised 4 weeks is conclusive though CDC states 45 days.   Although I’m still wondering if a covid vaccination can delay seroconversion or give a false negative.
Well the good thing is that you had no risk so you are safe and won't need to test. You don't worry about the validity of any other medical tests or X-Rays your doctor performs so it is odd that you are focused on a test that you don't need.
