To explain, the CDC talks about theoretical risk which is different than real risk.  The important point that the CDC does not dispute is that it has NEVER happened.  HIV has never been transmitted that way.  In all the years HIV has been known and studied, there has not been a single proven and documented case. The enzymes in saliva break down the virus which is actually quite fragile.  The only ways adults get HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing of IV drug needles.  Transmission has to take place inside the body.  So, this is why you are told that oral sex is no risk for HIV in real life.

Hi,
1) there's no 100% in medicine
2) the risk is practically zero
3) read my journal about how saliva is not a medium for hiv transmission
