Hiv infection scare.

About 2 weeks ago, I kind of slept with a girl, it was a very low penetration, Infact the tip of my penis only touched her vagina. Ever since then, I have experienced fever, chills, whitish tongue and muscle aches. I have been on anti-bacteria drugs and I have gotten better. But just today, I noticed a swollen portion on my neck which I learnt is called "swollen lymph node". What are my risks of being hiv positive. Note that I no longer feel feverish or chills and other muscle pains are gone. The node is only the new symptoms.

You did not have an HIV infection scare. This was not a risk at all. Touching a penis to vagina is not a risk for HIV. Air inactivates the virus. The only risks are having unprotected WITH penetration vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles to inject drugs. So you had ZERO risk and no reason to suspect or test for HIV. Your various things you list as symptoms are unrelated.

Please I need your help once again. 30th of this month makes it two months since my exposure. I have had symptoms like fever, cold and swollen lymph node in my neck. Last Thursday, I developed serious fever and cold that I had to visit hospital for a general test and I did a blood count which revealed that my tcells was high(11700),i was given some drugs and have since gotten better. I would like to know if that high tcells could mean anything as to hiv or sti infections?
You didn't have ANY risk for HIV, so your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.  Work with your doctor to find the cause of your medical issues, which aren't related to HIV.  This is not an anxiety support forum, so if you keep needing reassurance for this no-risk event, please seek out the help of a therapist.

Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  (touching vagina, maybe fluids, etc. ). You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal with a penis, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv - there are ONLY 3 ways to get hiv. Note that 2 of them require a penis and the third requires a hollow injecting shared needle - there are no OTHER ways to get hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
Hiv is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the WORST that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either.  You can do what you did any time and be safe from hiv.
The other person's status is irrelevant when you have no exposure to live virus.
Your health symptoms have nothing to do with a disease that you don't have.

Thanks for your response. My major concern is with the symptoms especially the swollen lymph and sore throat, could they be signs of any other viral infection?

yes, lymh node react to any infection or other things. Sore throats can happen to anyone at any time. This CAN'T be your first sore throat.
