Hiv negative @ 8 weeks still having symptoms

Good night  need some help
Risk: unprotected cunnilingus and protected vaginal sex (my oral health jacked up missing teeth and cavities )

Symptoms: flu sore throat, white dry skin, black rash on arms, lymph nodes neck groin and armpits, white tongue, oral thrush, burning sensation back stomach lips groin and face, loose stool, dark colour urine, weight loss..

Test: 6 and 8 weeks antibody and antigen.. negative results

How accurate is hiv test at 8 weeks, I'm scared results would change when I test at 12 weeks because I'm still having a lot of symptoms including lymph nodes it driving me insane

You had PROTECTED vaginal sex. NO RISK NO NEED TO TEST

Oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV NO NEED TO TEST

Oral sex CAN be a risk for other STD's like gonorrhea and syphilis and I would recommend you test for those with a full STD panel.

HIV (which you had zero risk for) is NEVER diagnosed by symptoms.

You had no risk of HIV from protected sex nor from oral sex. Symptoms are irrelevant and never used to diagnose HIV. The only factors used to determine HIV are risk factor (yours is zero as in none as in no risk) plus test results for an actual risk (which you did not have). Nothing else matters when talking about HIV. You've had multiple people here tell you that you had no risk. There is nothing more that can be done for you here because your risk has been assessed as zero.

Hey guys sorry to be a pain I truly I'm but I need your help these symptoms keep popping up and it's driving me insane ive had this insane sore throat for over 7 weeks and my tongue covered in oral thrush and white coating, my skin feels like dry sand paper it's has white tiny flakey pimples and my rash seems to be spreading, I currently have 2 new lymph nodes under my jaw. I know you said no risk but I've been reading online over at the doctor's and they explained that co infection other stds can increase the risk for hiv this scared me because I already got infected with 2 stds from this exposure....I'm really scared yo, if I'm having hiv symptoms why my 10 weeks test was negative, this really sucks man I'm a few days from my 12 weeks mark, I'm scared my results would change to positive, these last few days really getting to me

You didn't have a risk.  Other STDs can't increase a risk from zero risk.  You do not have HIV.

Hey everyone yesterday I went and got tested female did not show up
Full STD panel: tested positive for syphilis and genital herpes
Also did a 71 days hiv rapid test tested negative
I'm still very thankful for that and grateful.........
Just have to educate my self and make changes
One question can I just move on from the HIV testing
Does having multiple stds put me at greater risk??

I'm glad you are calmer now and will be getting tested for STD's on Tuesday.

ALWAYS use a condom for insertive vaginal/anal sex and if you engage in oral sex, international guidelines recommend getting tested every three months for prevention.

I wish you the very best outcome!

Actually my story is same like yours. They have to say it as national guidelines are saying it. On the other hand they are aware that there was never a case. In my opinion such counseling is useless. I'm very dissatisfied with counseling I got... They didn't tell me anything about 4th generation test and how it works, what is true window period, when antigen is detected and so on... Not to mention that they are scaring people with oral sex risk

You do NOT need to test for HIV. You NEVER had a risk!

Oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV because there are bacteria and enzymes in human saliva that render the virus inactive. (Unable to infect)

There has NEVER been a medically proven case of HIV having been transmitted via oral sex. EVER. I doubt you will be the first.

Personally, I'd find a new clinic.

Hey just wanna say thank you Tuesday will be my 10th week I'm gonna get tested for all other STDs, the lady at the clinic said oral sex is a risk for HIV and I should be tested on at the 12 week mark for conclusive result. I asked her if she ever tested anybody who tested positive after oral sex and her response was a little unsure and rude in my opinion, quick question why oral sex is not a risk for hiv you people seem a lot more knowledgeable about the virus than her
