Hiv symptoms from multiple exposures of oral sex.

Hi,

I would like to ask a few questions about my exposures and current symptoms.

I know I've been very irresponsible and stupid, I have frequent massage parlors for the last 6 months.
During this time frame I've seen about 4 different masseuses approximately 3-4 times per month with any of the them, but mostly the same one.they are from Chinese origin.

Exposures were unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex. The exposures lasted about 15-25 mins. Occasional share a bath with them before and/or after the exposures.

I realized I was being very stupid and careless, and was getting out of control. I tested on Nov 20 all stds negative. But before receiving the results my last exposures were Nov 26 & dec 4.
Received the results all negative except for hsv 2, I panicked. on dec 7, my neck lymph nodes started hurting and all symptoms began full force on dec 10, skin rash, burning skin feeling, trouble sleeping, days later armpit nodes hurting, abdominal pain as if I had a hernia,I feel like the lymph nodes are hurting from neck down to legs.

Now I'm really scared and regretting my stupidity and bad choices. I quit doing those things and I hope it wasn't too late.

I will appreciate any comments or statiscal facts from my exposures.

Are these symptoms similar to those infected?
Is my exposures too risky since it happened repeatedly?
Are Chinese sex workers prevalent to be positive?

Thanks for your time.

As chima and ANM said,  you really need a Therpist for your anxiety...

Oral (Giving/Receiving) and protected sex is a no risk for HIV.

Move On...

You do not have any HIV concern. Symptoms you are experiencing are 100% anxiety related.

I see that you haven't followed any of the advice here, particularly mine when I said for you to seek a therapist. You're wasting your time looking at HIV when it has nothing to do with you. Your problem is health anxiety and you're in a downward spiral in need of therapy. You will not get better until you get counseling. Stop wasting your time and find a therapist today.

Speaking of downward spiral, your mental health issues can get a lot worse the longer you are in denial that you need therapy, so it is doubtful at this point that your placebo test will make you feel better. You haven't accepted any of the science so you won't likely accept the test since it is also science based. The only thing you believe in is your own science fiction which is unrealistic for you to have so much confidence in.

Heres my advice.
I dont see whats the point of worrying.
U have ur risk analysed.
Symptoms are not useful to diagnose hiv.
If u r worried, get a test, simple.

You're right I need to test to get peace of mind. I've been just waiting to test at a reasonable time. Thank you

Very worried about someone else now. Long story short I went back home, and trying to reconcile with my ex and I know her from many years and start a new life back together. Unfortunately we engage in one time unprotected sex while I was a little intoxicated. I regret the next day since I'm not sure about my status. Fast forward 2 weeks, she's not feeling well, heavy sore throat, headaches, flu like symptoms and body aches. I am worried that I infected her. How can this be happening, Is it possible that I am infected and passed it on to her. I really hope this is only a coincidence. And she will be ok, even if I'm.not. I really need help. Sorry because I keep coming back here for my irresponsible decisions.

Still having symptoms (painful & possibly swollen  armpit , neck lymph nodes ,  skin rash that comes and go, torso dry skin, less energy) that won't go away, do I need to test again, or should I wait for 3 months after last exposure? Sorry for keep beating this topic.

How many more times do you need to be told that you were never exposed to HIV before you'll stop this unhealthy obsession of yours? Your New Year's resolution should be to seek out a therapist with whom to address your irrational health anxiety because that's the only real problem you have here. Everyone is back from their holiday break today therefore if you were smart you'd start googling for therapists and make an appointment for this week. Until you get help for your mental problem, your "symptoms" will keep bothering you.
Thanks, you're right, I need to stop obsessing with symptoms that might have been caused by over thinking and being anxious.
Which of the only 3 do you feel was your risk? Otherwise you are just making up your own science fiction, which is unrealistic for you to think could ever become reality.
Only unprotected oral. None of those 3 you described.
Then you are just believing in your made up science fiction, which is an unrealistic expectation for you to have so much confidence in since you have no medical training. See a therapist to help come to grips with this unrealistic expectation.

I just wanted to weigh in on a comment here. JB I too had a serious anxious period of weeks this summer which was the result of a no-risk situation i put myself in. My anxiety has very much calmed down now and can tell you that it was the solid advise on this forum as well as time it took to get back to a rational state of mind.

Clearly the research shows (believe me, I had spent weeks scowering the net) that the only transmission factors for HIV are what Anxious No More has stated, so  with that in mind - go in peach, learn to let go, forgive yourself, be safe, enjoy life and have a very merry Christmas.

Thanks,

Ali

Thank you for the encouraging words, I've been very stressed out for my bad behavior, and Like everyone else going through the stress and anxiety, all the symptoms I read online , I experienced, little by little I'm trying to put it in the past and move on, it's just been difficult, thanks for reminding me that I am not the only one going through this and that I should follow the advice from everyone here. Merry Christmas.
See your doc or a therapist to get some instant relief because nothing happened, so you shouldn't spend all this time in terror.
Have you stopped googling for death yet? Otherwise you can't get started to relax and that is another reason to get mental health help.

Answer is No.

Sexullay, the only confirned risk are Unprotected Anal and Vaginal Sex.

AnxiousNoMore has already given you a detailed answer.

You can go around asking "What If" questions but the fact is the Answer is Still "No Risk"

During some of those exposures(1/4 of the times), I received unprotected annalingus. Does that increase the risk? Trying to forget about it but still worried a little, sore throat discomfort, and painful lymph nodes.
Sorry for expanding the initial questions.
Thanks for educate me more.

Which of the only 3 do you feel was your risk? Otherwise you are just making up your own science fiction, which is unrealistic for you to think could ever become reality.
Sorry, I thought I had listed the only 3 risks before, but here they are.
This answers all of your HIV questions, and if you can think of any more just reread about the 3. You had zero risk therefore  testing is irrelevant to your situation because you had zero risk. HIV is a fragile virus, which is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only 3 adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal with a penis
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex with a penis
3. sharing needles that you inject with.
The only way to get HIV is if you did one of the 3. The situation you describe is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. Doctors have calculated the risk from what you describe to be less than that of being hit by a meteor, therefore no one will get HIV from what you did in the next 40 years of your life either. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established, so no detail that you can add to your encounter will change it from zero risk.

Thanks for answering. I will try to move on, its just nerve wracking feeling the symptoms described.
I will try to stop poking my nodes.

The first step to peace is to stop Googling for death cold turkey, because it will only make you anxious.
Stop examining your body cold turkey too, because an HIV doctor wouldn't do that.

You had Proteced Vaginal sex and unprotected oral with a woman.  None of the activity expose you to HIV.

Sharing bath with them is also a No Risk for HIV.

The only confirmed risk sexually for HIV are unprotected vaginal or anal.

You never needed a test.

"I will appreciate any comments or statiscal facts from my exposures. "
Zero risk for protected or from unprotected oral so it is time to stop beating yourself up and move on from HIV anxiety. You don't have any medical training so should stop poking and irritating your lymph which are probably normal. Your symptoms are minor so see doc if they are bothering you.
