Hiv test after using a gel with bethametasone.
Hi doctor.
I have a question. It's very important for me.
2 weeks ago a made hiv diagnosis test (4 generation, biomerieux). I made this after 3 years of my last risk situation. The problem is, that i use bethametasone gel for 2 weeks before this test. Can that corticosteroid affect my test. The result was negative.

that gel contains this corticosteroid and two antibiotics. I applicate this on my neck (acne)
Unprotected sex..I know that was a risk situation. Did bethametasone gel 0,5mg/1g can afford my negative result?
