Hiv test

Hello. I had an hiv exposure 7 weeks ago today . I took a hiv 1/2 ab-hiv1 ag test at 5 weeks 2 days was negative. I than took an eia test at 45 days also negative. My questions are .... does ag stand for antigens ? If so is this the 4th gen combo test ? Also.. do I need to test again? Thank you

ab ag is a duo. ag is just antigen and requires 12 weeks window. You need to test with a duo.

It says hiv 1/2 ab hiv1 ag. Is this the 4th generation ? I took it at 5 weeks 3 days
I missed the ag at the end. So it was a duo. Move on, you are negative.
Thank you for your response I also wanted to ask . Is the eia test the same as the 4th gen ? I’m just asking because I also took this one at 6 weeks (-)

Anxiousnomore. Do you think I should retake the duo at 6 weeks to be sure ? Or do you think I’m ok

No, you only have to be conclusive once and the window is just 4 weeks. That is why I said to move on back to your happy life.
Thank you . You have finally gave me some peace . God bless
