Hiv test

Is an Alere hiv combo test conclusive at 40 days after potential exposure (condom broke during vaginal sex)?

I will take you at your word that you had an actual condom break even though many have a lot of anxiety and they imagine that.  As long as the head of the penis is covered during a condom break, you won't get HIV. But regardless, you took an Alere hiv combo test which is a 4th generation duo test and all results are conclusive at 28 days and beyond. So, you do not have hiv.

I’m sure the condom broke  idk if my head was still covered as the girl was on top I got anxious and started to feel my penis then I realised I could feel my skin so I stopped. I did a full std test after 40 days aswell and everything came back negative.
Okay, well, your test is conclusive and you don't have hiv.  You do not need another hiv test
Thank you so much my doctor wants to do one in 2 weeks though btw I’m in Australia if that makes a difference and my doctor has said that my depression and anxiety is getting the better of me.
Yes.  These (mental health issues) can create what if's and worry and rumination that make us irrationally question things.  If this is situational, it should go away but if you encounter it in other areas or times in life, you should seek help for it with a mental health professional. You do NOT need another test and I would not do it.
Ok thank you so much I appreciate you taking out time to answer my question . Honestly it’s just this hiv scare that has made my mental health unwell My doctor said my brains chemicals are imbalance due to the stress and anxiety and gave me serotonin tablets.
Thank you so much for replying I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions
You're welcome.  Have a great day
