Sexual Activity With Trans Woman And Fear Of HIV

Hello,

I have done sexual activity with trans woman sex worker for the first time, Both used condom, I received anal from the trans woman but after reading on internet i got anxiety that the condom could have been broken or had tears and that is just like condom was not used when the trans penetrated me! The meeting was not too long, was like 1 hour.

The condom was Durex Purple color, the water based lube was Durex Purple Gel. I only remember that i noticed there was a purple thing on the toilet paper that the trans was using. Could this be peaces of the condom ? Or it is the lubricant ? I usually see the Durex gel as transparent gel.

I have done PCR RNA and Ab tests at day 8, with other testes like Hep B,C and Syphilis. Thankfully all were negative. After that i read in the Internet that PCR RNA test is not accurate and I read that there is 4th gen test Ab/Ag that can be done after 28 days.

I have done the HIV1/2 Ab + P24 test at the start of day 28. The result was negative.

I still have anxiety and it is irritating my overall health, my work and my study.

I would appreciate your kind response. I read that the COMBO test has period of 4 weeks and in other sites the period is 6 weeks. CDC recommends testing on 3-4 weeks, others recommends at 6 weeks.  I am totally lost and worried.

Kind regards,

If the condom was used the HIv on it would be dead in air so you can't get infected from dead virus. If a condom fails it is a large rip down the seam and it hangs in tatters so that didn't happen or both of you would notice that. If you still can't get rid of hIV fear, then your anxiety is a bit of a mental health issue and you need to see a therapist because your situation is straightforward that you can't have HIV and wasted your time testing.

It would be silly to take another combo test when there is nothing to test for.
Thank you for your kind response.

Actually the reason why I got pushed to post the thread, is that i got throat burning that is shifting right to left, plus some yellow color at the end of the tongue close to the throat. Dentist advised me to use mouth wash and he said it is nothing to worry about.

from left to right, i got this at day 35 till now, (4 days), my rectal temperature is 37.4 at night and 36.3 in the morning. I m not sure if this is normal temperature or not.

my sleeping is not good as anxiety is playing big role in this.

I know you you may say that we do not judge my symptoms, but I thought i have to mention these just in case.
Since the dentist said it is nothing to worry about, yet you create your own theory that it is a problem, then your problem is not disease, it is fear of disease which is a mental health problem that you need to see a therapist for one on one instead of going to forums with your theories, because no one is going to believe them.
You don't have HIV so you need to move on instead of trying to work up an impossible HIV theory. You don't have any medical training, so it is unrealistic for you to have so much confidence in your ability to diagnose disease ,and unrealistic for you to think your imaginary theory is more solid than that of the scientists who have studied HIV for 40 years. Seek therapy.
But i did not tell him that i m afraid of HIV or anything related to the sexual encounter, it was in the next day of blood test at 28 day,  after 10 days i read in the internet that throat and yellow tongue could be sign, then i started to thing again and seek for  any chance that the Ab/Ag test could miss it at 28 day.
Heya ., i was in same situation .didnt used to trust tests nor doctors.and wasted 6 months of valuable time.i still feel i should have trusted my test results at 28th day and even my pcr tests after day10(my dr performed them and said you are scot free ) ..so please come back to normal world.you have a *doubt*and got tested thats it .leave it there .trust the doctors .trust the tests...
Since you did not have a risk for HIV, there was no infection for the test to find or miss.  There is nothing more for our members to say about your no-risk event.  If you are concerned about your non-HIV symptoms, discuss them when your doctor.
