Hiv worrry

Hi there again, I posted this question below  nearly a week ago now but wanted to add that I think I may have peeling skin around my nail where the blood had touched. It’ had never bled itself but just a little raw skin, the blood was on this until I licked it thinking it was mine. Would this increase any chances?

This was my original post:

A week ago at lunch I noticed I had a small light stain of blood on my finger by my nail. I automatically licked this but didn’t notice a cut. A minute later my husbands father said his finger was bleeding. Though I have never heard of him having hiv I also doubt he has tested and has had a few girlfriends. I also had an ulcer in my mouth at the time and I am worried about the risk of even a small amount (it wasn’t an actual drop of blood) . A week later I have a sore throat and am just worried about any risk? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you

Again, this is not a risk.  You've already been told what ARE risks which to repeat are unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse (penetrating) or sharing of IV drug needles.  Air inactivates the virus.  Nothing has changed since the last time you posted.

Even if it is a bleeding cut, it is unlikely to pass through. Blood clots very quickly.

And every second the virus is outside a host, it slowly degrades.

Nope it doesnt. The virus cant just randomly penetrate the epithelial layer. It is like asking , can u walk through a wall?

Thank you very much for your answer and putting my mind at rest. I very my appreciate it. I presume it would need to be a bleeding cut that it would penetrate through?
