HIV RISK

Hi. I would like to ask about my situation. On dec 21, i had my pimple injected (intradermal injection) den on dec 27, i did the same as well. Then I realized it was too risky for hiv.what if they accidentaly forgot to use new syringe? Then on jan2 i began symptoms like dry eyes, chills with no fever and canker sore (which i rarely have), then i got so nervous. On january 21, i used fujibio home test kit and it came out negative. But i understand I tested too early.should i need to do another test? What is my possible exposure? Thank you

Your symptoms were unspecific to HIV. There was no correlation whatsoever.

Firstly, a medical practioner that has done this for you wouldn't risk your health by not taking proper measures for your well being. Therefore,  this fear is totally irrational.

Secondly, assuming you have a valid concern, just for your peace of mind I would like to present you an evaluation.

Skin has three layers, namely : Epidermis - Dermis - Hypodermis, these are effective barrier to HIV since it doesn't expose the route to your blood vessels, which is essential for HIV to infect.

Intradermal injection means a superficial injection into the dermis region, which is a layer in between the epidermis and the hypodermis, this by no means is equivalent to injecting intravenous drugs in to your veins which is an effective route to your blood vessels.

Therefore, there was no risk. Neither did you need to test from this incident nor do you need to test further.

Thank you. May i ask also if this intradermal is not like the needle prick they are saying which is also a risk for hiv? Are mouth sores not an early  symptom?
Lastly sir Myke, if the practitioner really did accidentaly reused syringe, is testing at 3rd week after, too early? Thank you so much
Your questions are paranoid. A clinic doesn't give patients hiv as mike explained, so if you are unable to get over your HIV science fiction theory then see a mental health professional because this kind of problem can get worse if not treated.
Yes i know these are paranoid questions. Im just worried because i have symptoms week after the injection. Is it just timing? So i need not to test again?

I was worried because of human error they mighr accidentaly reused syringe and needle for pimple injection. I dont know but its timing that weeks after i got sick.
