I want to know if I have the possibility of Infected with HIV

Dear doctor,
im 25 years old from China. My experience is that i had a sex with sex worker 3 days ago in Thailand. i take a condom the whole process. however, my skin is broken , although there is no blood, but it  is very painful when touching water. The key is that my hand touched her vaginal secretion before, but  5mins later, my hand with her vaginal secretion touched my wound directly, and I was very flustered....I wonder whether I would get HIV assumed that the sex worker have HIV...
Thank you!

Touching body fluids that have been exposed to the ambient environment is not a risk, regardless of whether you had scrapes or cuts or anything else. It's not a risk.

oh Thank you so much, i m really nervous about it. this is my first time tohave sex with sex worker, i think i would never do such things again...
Your only risk is whatever cold or flu she has is easy to catch. I would relax about hiv but stay away from sw in future.

Hi

If we assume the sex worker had HIV,

You would not get Hiv in the protected encounter you describe.

By the way it is likely that she is HIV negative because she is protecting herself.
