Improper condem usage

Hi all i recently had protected intercourse however i am unfamiliar with what they mean by improper codem usage.  It was put on right when i got an erection i was than given oral and vaginal and i did not see it break or anything.  When I pulled out I didnt hold the base but it didnt slip off. Does that matter? I could see the collected semen.I than rolled it off rather than pulling it by the tip.  Would any of this put me at risk to HIV.

Im saying if the condom didnt cover the "burn".  I dont think it was even there but sometimes i can feel it right after i masterbaute.  So would it be possible for it to infect through what i guess maybe could be micro tears.  No blood or anything, and it probablly healed since it was almost 20 hours beforehand. Just wondering if it could travel through. This will be my last post.

You didn't have a failure then that part you did right. No risk.
Correct condom use:
Store condoms away from heat and direct sunlight.
Look at the condoms exp. date
squeese the tip and roll down the condom
apply lube.
hold on to the base of the condom when with drawing.
use the condom from the being to the end of sexual intercourse.
