Insertive and receptive sex question

Hey group, quick question

I had receptive and insertive anal sex for the first time on Sunday night/early Monday morning. We kissed, made out, and he and I used protection for when we were doing the inserting. I do remember myself cumming directly into the condom without failure but I dont remember him doing the same and I dont know if his condom failed. He said we used protection and everything was fine but today I have a very bad sore throat that started on Monday night.

Is this an early sign of HIV? Since we both used protection (and I am assuming that condom failure would be noticeable and I didnt notice anything so I can assume his didnt fail) I dont need testing right?

Jim

As always I will continue to use condoms! For some reason I was just a little nervous about it all but from reading up on it, it seems that condom failure is very obvious to both parties. This was my first time and will not do it again until with a committed partner. Sounds good to you Lizzie?

until you are in a mongamous relationship where BOTH of you have tested...ALWAYS use condoms for penetrative vaginal / anal intercourse.  sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME ! ! !

Oh that is a relief. I just texted him and he says that we used protection. So being that I used protection, I dont need testing right?

your sore throat is not hiv related.

ars symptoms, if experienced, come at 2-4 weeks post exposure and lasts for 1-2 weeks.

sounds like you had PROTECTED sex...THAT'S A GOOD THING :)
