Is HIV transmission through anal fingering possible?

Hi,

I am a male and I got fingered anal by a female, prior to that she fingered her self as well so some vaginal fluid was on her fingers (I am not sure if she had blood on it as well). I am afraid whether this is a risk for hiv as after fingering herself she put her vinger inside my anus possible containing some vaginal fluid and blood. She had sharp and relative long nails but I don't remember that it caused any wound or bleeding in my anus. She also used her saliva to lubricate (I don't remember that her saliva contained blood).

I did a 4th gen combo test after 2 weeks which turned negative and a INSTI Antibody hiv self home test after 7 weeks which also turned negative.

Do i need to test again?

There was no scope of transmission.  HIV can only be transmitted through proper anal / vaginal penetrative sex and not through fingering even if there was infected fluid present on finger.

The virus is seperated from it's host the moment it comes in contact with the environment, thus rendering it inactive for transmission.

You should not worry about HIV in this case.

Same as yesterday. Your anxiety is a bit of a mental health issue at this point so you need to see a therapist to try to accept the reality.

Why such an answer without knowing any background info? Why do I need to seek help from a therapist after asking two questions regarding risk of HIV in two different encounters.

I was just wondering if there was a low risk, or no risk at all as there is some exchange of bodily fluids. Just curious on the opinion of others. And yes, I am someone that gets those questions in mind after such an encounter, maybe unnecessary, but this won't make anyone directly having the need to seek a therapist.

I think everyone has a point or concern in their life in which they "over"-worry sometimes. It is more to obtain a reassurance, particularly if you are not sure about any risk involved.

So I hope that questions will be answered in this forum, without getting directly the advice to seek a therapist. That is where this forum is for, to help each other, to reassure each other and to warn each other. Furthermore, I am thankful for everyone involved with answering questions.

I would still appreciate any answer on my question asked above, maybe with a brief explanation why it would be a risk or not, so I can take a lesson from it as well.

Thank you
Sorry I thought it was the same encounter.
This answers all of your HIV questions, and if you can think of any more just reread about the 3. You had zero risk and a test would be a waste of time.
HIV is a fragile virus which is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only 3 adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal with a penis
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex with a penis
3. sharing needles that you inject with. Knowing these 3 are all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV. The situation you describe is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. Doctors have calculated the risk from what you describe to be less than that of being hit by a meteor, therefore no one will get HIV from what you did in the next 40 years of your life either. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established, so no detail that you can add to your encounter will change it from zero risk.
Thank you for your response.

I read through your answer and it really clears things up, so thanks for that. Just a final follow up question.
In your reply you mention: touching, external rubbing or oral activities. However, this was a situation involving internal fingering (receiptive anal)  with vaginal fluids and possible some blood on the finger. So I could not extract a direct answer on this from your answer. Could you please light this up?
