Is a Fourth Gen Hiv test conclusive at 4 or 6 weeks?

Had a potential exposure, protection was used but was not changed between oral and anal.  Tested neg at 21 and 28 days via a duo  4th Gen.   Is further testing needed at 45 days?

Would appreciate a dr to reply

You didn't have a risk for HIV.  Sexually, HIV is transmitted by having unprotected anal or vaginal sex.  It would not matter if saliva was on the condom prior to inserting the penis anally, since saliva is not infectious.

In any case, 28 days is recommended as a conclusive testing time unless you have had a real exposure with someone who is HIV+ (in which case you might want to test to 42 days, for peace of mind).

If you had a risk you only need to test once but you didn't have a risk so time to move on.
