Is it hiv

Hello, on 23 of August I had protected intercose with a women that I didn't know, after 2 to 3 I had an outbreak of cold sore on my lips. But know after about on month I have another outbreak, also I had a running/stuffed nose. I don't have any fever ( maybe I did for one day) and I don't have any skin rash but I feel that I have a swollen gland on left side of my nick, I can't really feel it and it does hurt when I push my neck or when I eat and drink, like I said there no appearance but I little chubby and it looks like my Chen meat and down is going left side, I am afraid that the condom broke, but I didn't feel anything and seman was still inside when I finished. Can this be symptoms of hiv? Thx.

A condom break would be a huge breakage and your semen would definitely not be in the condom after you're done.

You used protection and that alone should set your mind at risk about HIV. The cold sore though sounds like herpes but no way of knowing until you get a test done.

For HIV though, the risk is negligible though you should still take an HIV test once a year if you're sexually active.

Thank you for reply, I have hsv 1 since I was a small so I'm not worried about that, what worries me that it showed up twice in about 1 month span, also can u get swollen gland on one side of your neck, if so why doesn't it hurt when I apply pressure or drink. Again not very visible swelling, also if Someone is infected with hiv does the symptoms (ars) show all together like fever and rash and weight loss, or it can be one symptom only. Thx

You had condom protected sex. If you stick with it. You will never get HIV forever. But what you might feel right now is anxiety. If youare sexually active it would be prudent to get tested for STD's every 3-6 months. For ypur own health. Based on this your HIV test will be neagtive. Good luck!
