Just wondering

Is it possible to ask a question on this forum without having an hiv risk ..? Isn't it called hiv prevention for a reason

Ok just want to educate myself on the risk and preventions I always use condoms for protected vaginal sex never do i use them for oral sex... So if that was a risk i know for sure i put myself at risk hundreds of times but my doctor told me its not so ok

Just don't ask questions over an over again when you were advised you didn't have an exposure and don't follow up with questions that pertain to an exposure you didn't have.

Ok I understand what your saying.. Just going through alot right now with my health and the only thing the doc could tell me was that it was hiv symptoms... Since then I've had 3 test 2 , 4 ,11 weeks all negative and seeing all this conflicting info on different sites will mess u up also but thanks for the info.... Btw my exposure was receiving oral sex that's it

With as busy as this forum gets, typically the mods don't permit a lot of threads about general information regarding HIV.  

Of course, anything related to prevention, testing, etc, is appropriate, KEEPING IN MIND that the forum has the rules about excessive posting about no risk situations for good reason.  If MH allowed all of the repetitive anxiety driven questions to remain, the people posting seeking a risk assessment would never get any replies.

Teak makes a great point about you having a history of asking repetitive, anxiety driven questions.  We want everyone to get their concerns addressed.  It isn't exactly fair to allow ONE poster to start 20 threads, all about very similar topics, when they have already received a lot of replies, when there are others who haven't even received one answer.
