Mariied and Military

Hello,

To whom it may concern. I am a 30yo male. I have been married for 10 years. I have 2 children one 9 and a toddler. I am active duty military. My question is as follows.

I have been completley faithful fo the first 8 years of my marriage. My wife and I filled for divorce in 2008. I was deployed to Iraq for the secound time and we had just grown apart. When we were seperated I did engae in heterosexual sex with a few females. I am unsure what or if she had any partners. We continued to stay and touch and realized late in 2008 that we wanted to try and make our marriage work. I get tested by the military every two years for HIV. I was tested in Oct 2008 and results were negative. My wife and I discovered in 2009 that she was pregnant. Every blood test she had was negative and my daughter has no health issues.

This is my question I have had, swollen nodes, headache, sore throat, fatigue on and off for almost a year. At one point me and my wife had swollen nodes in the armpit at exactly the same time. My wife has had a yeast infection but was easily treated and was gone in like 3 days.

I have discovered form the internet that my wifes and my symptoms are all current with HIV symptoms. My wife thinks I am crazy when I voice my concern of this.

My issue is the concern for not only my own health but for ther health of my family, also the impact this would have on my military carreer. I would go just get tested to stop worrying about it but the fear of the positive result that would not only ruin my military life but everything else.

I will add my wife breast feeds my daughter and her health has been good other than an ear infection that eventualy lead to tubes.

Im scared neveous, anxious and just at a loss can someone please shed light, outlook, answers.

Thanks

Ok..Thanks you...But do the symptoms seem like HIV..I know what I have done but not my wife...My/her symptoms started when my daughter was 6 months old. I want to know if I should get tested strictly off the symptoms? I hate to be a bother ...And I greatly appreciate all/any advice

when she was pregnant im sure they tested her for hiv
so you should not worry about her and your child and also about breastfeeding
as per yourself, if u did not have unprotected sex with random partners since you tested in oct08,then you should be fine as well..
be safe and always use protection
