Need Information please

Is it possible to contract hiv without contracting other sexual transmitted diseases such as chlamydia  and gonorrhea and so on as i have been tested negative for those after 16 days and if it is possible is it likely or highly unlikely? I understand conclusive results of hiv are only available with a hiv test after 3 months but i would like to know the chance of contracting hiv without contracting other stds from one unprotected vaginal sexual encounter? to add i have feel as i have all hiv symptoms

I would say a 16 day DUO test is around 95% accurate and having no other STDs is an excellent sign.

Thank you for the information ....would you happen to know how likely hiv detection is on a 16 day duo test is?  as this is my last result as i am waiting to be tested again....also not having any other stds is that a good indication?

3 months will provide you with a conclusive result but a 4 week DUO or 6 week antibody test will be a very good indication of your status.

In my initial question i have admitted that the only conclusive method of finding out is a test and yes i think i understand that those that wear condoms are not at risk

The only way to know your status is through testing.

People that use condoms don't put themselves at risk.

No i know that is not the case .....but those who have had contact with a sex worker is it not more likely for them to ontract more transmittable diseases such as chlamidiya and gonohrea specially considering that these are more prevelant?

Do you think evryone that has HIV has other STDs?

okay but Is it less likely because i have heard that other stds are easier to contract and also that most people that contract hiv also contract other stds especially when in contact with a sex worker ?
