Grinding HiV concern

Hello, Yesterday I had a brief encounter with a male guy (homosexual). He tried to push his penis against my anus, the moment I felt pressure I stopped him. There was no ejaculation but might be some precum involved. It happened only once and that too for 2-3 seconds only. Have I been at risk for infection and do i need to go  & get tested ?

Does penis needs to penetrate rectum to transmit HIV, or it can also lead to transmission if it only penetrates anal opening?

its not a risk in my opinion. I would suggest you take PCR qunatitative test which can detect early infections if you are infected but you need to wait 9-11 days.

Thanks , I am extremely worried now as I have put myself in a high risk situation.
i can understand I am going through the same its a real killer but dont better way to ask the person about his status. but to be on the safe side do a PCR RNA test after 9-11 days or 14 days and then normal hiv antibody test after 3 months. and please make protection an integral part of your sex life :)
God bless you I am sure you will be negative
A duo test is conclusive after 29 days. 3 months is outdated.
You said there was no penetration. If there was no penetration there was no risk.
It's very hard to say whether there was any penetration or not. I just felt the pressure and I stopped him. Can such a brief encounter of 2-3 seconds results in HIV transmission?
Totally dependent on whether there was penetration and only you can determine if that happened. It would be unmistakeable.
You can test but you shouldnt worry while you wait because you would know if you were penetrated.

Below are the basics.
HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal sex or sharing needles that you inject with. This sentence is all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching or oral activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established.
No one got HIV from touching or oral activities in 40 years of HIV history, so likely no one will in the next 40 years of your life either.
I m a little bit confused. whether penis needs to penetrate rectum to transmit HIV, or it can also lead to transmission if it only penetrates anal opening?  In my case he just pushed it and the moment I felt a pressure I stopped him..
