Need information

If a HIV positive person cooks\ makes desserts for family gatherings, he works at construction and always has opens wounds, scratches in hands, is it safe to eat it without contracting the virus ?

Thank you for your response. My concern is that some of his blood gets in the food he prepares, I'm aware that HIV is not airborne.

Yes, it is safe.  Hiv virus can not be alive in the air.  
U don't catch hiv like this.
