Need some help

All i want to know is can symptoms begin after a negative viral load test and i also had the standard test im not too sure what its called but they said it ag ab test. I did this after 31 days and they both came back negative. The night i received my results for the rna test however i felt so horrible that i literally felt that if i didnt go to the emergency room that i wouldnt wake up the next day and im not even bs ing i was legit scared they took my temperature and i had a fever of 99.4. Now ever since my whole body has been hot and i cant figure out as to why. But now when ive been doing rectal temperature checks and my temperature ranges from 99-99.5 it turned to 99.5 when i stuck it past the recommended inch. Im trying to calm down and make sense of all this but literally as soon as i get my negative vl test i have to go to the emergency room and have a fever. They gave me z pack and that has helped my other symptoms but my body is SOOO hot to the touch im so scared right now its hard to function. Idk what to do.

You had no risk, plus you tested negative, which proves it's not HIV.

My exposure was insertive and receptive anal sex on the same day, both were protected. But the receptive part is what is having me really shook up because im just not sure about the condom, i thought it was intact and i did t see semen leaking out but now im having all these symptoms in the correct timeframe and it just makes me very uneasy, and then the night i get my results i feel so horrible that i go to the emergency room and they tell me i have a slight fever which made me not even be able to enjoy my rna test being negative, its really unfair.

Ok first of all, an average normal temperature is 98.7 for adults and therefore anything in the 99 range is hardly a fever. It's not until over 100 that it's considered a fever. So you need to quit being so dramatic about a non issue with your temperature.

Secondly, if you tested negative at anytime 28 days after exposure with an ag/ab duo test then you've tested conclusively negative and have ruled out the possibility of HIV.

What was your exposure that led you to think you need to get tested?
