Needle Prick Worry

Hi i am from India and a recent incident is making me worried. I was travelling in the night in a rickshaw (side opened) and when the vehicle stopped in between for a second, i felt a sharp stabbing pain in my thighs which was projecting outside the vehicle. Before I was able to check what happened, the driver had taken it forward. when i reached home i checked the area and could notice a small red dot looked like a needle prick. considering this area known for some anti social activities in the past, i am worried now that some one would have tried injecting me. as i was wearing a dark grey trouser, it will not even show any blood stain even if there. very tensed now due to this. Will I need testing for HIV later? i am married and confused whether i will be able to continue physical relation with my wife. Please help with your views.

Try not to overthink things as you sound to have some anxiety.  But let's think about this for a moment.  Needle sticks are not a risk for HIV because air inactivates the virus.  Just getting stuck with a sharp object or needle will not infect someone with HIV.  An injection is different as that has the whole plunger things and the air vac.  You'd notice someone injecting you rather than just sticking you.  And honestly, no one would just stick you.  That doesn't happen in real life.  Try not to be so fearful or suspicious and perhaps a doctor can work with you on anxiety.  There are online resources for anxiety too.  But this is where you need to focus.  The only risks for HIV are unprotected vaginal or anal sex with penetration or sharing IV drug needles.
