Needle stick in a night club

went to a night club a few days ago, run into somebody and felt I was poked with a syringe. Went home and saw a red dot ( it had a scab on it). Is there a risk for HIV this way?

I've said twice that you've had no risk. If it'll ease your mind, go ahead. It has to be taken with 72 hours

do you think I need PEP?

Not at all. If you're worried, take a DUO test at 28 days

do not know HIV status but assume is positive. I think it was a stab since it happened so quickly. Do not think it had time to infuse.

So you're saying you were injected with freshly drawn blood from someone else who had HIV?

even if the syringe had fresh HIV blood? Would not the blood go into your system?

Being poked is not a risk.
