Negative HIV results after 3 or 5 months after first exposure

My time line: unprotected sex with 3 people in March (guy A, B), April (guy A,C), May (guy A ), June (guy A). On august 24th I got tested for HIV because my doctor said the genital lesions on my vulva could be herpes (first outbreak). I think I also had symptoms of HIV during my herpes outbreak-- hot sweats, swollen glands, very sore throat, throat crypts, tonsilloliths, pouches of smelly white blobs in the back of throat, muscle aches, very fatigue, one night I had frightening delusion when I would wake up every 20 minutes and thought that I just got positive results. I didn't get any sleep so I could have just made myself sick over stressing about having these viruses.

Results on 8/27
HIV AB, HIV 1/2, EIA, WITH REFLEXES SCREEN-- Nonreactive (nonreactive).

Questions: Did I wait long enough to take the HIV test to give me accurate results? I took the HIV tests 5 months max or 3 months minimum since first possible exposure to HIV. Can negative results be misleading?

**Is the HIV test most accurate after a certain amount of time since the infection OR exposure? Is it normal to have symptoms of HIV and Herpes simultaneously, at the same time?

**No one will give me a flat out answer. Is there a chance that I will get positive results for HIV when I go back to do bloodwork in 4-16 weeks?

I'm beginning to think that that the last person I had sex with (in june) gave me HIV. If it was the guy from March (5 months ago) wouldn't the test have detected antibodies by now??

having unprotected sex with someone doesn't mean automatic infection.  you could have sex, numerous times with the same person, and not get infected and then have it again and contract hiv.

for this reason...a test at 3 months post your LAST exposure yields a conclusive result.

3 months post--exposure from the ''june'' guy is when you can obtain a conclusive result. The others did not give you hiv.
