Test at 6-8 weeks for a more reliable result. 12 weeks conclusive.
thanks for the reply. one question is their a test that i can take earlier then 3 months for hiv? wish me luck, my dad was diagnose with cancer and its been really hard for the family. i dont wanna be another problem, i already feel like i let them down. thanks guys.
The chances of conrtacting are low, but still a risk. HIV is treatable, you can live an average life span on meds. Still get a test done.
thanks for the answers. i know i took a risk. so are my chances of contracting HIV high or low or maybe really low? just need an answer for that please. also im not circumcise i dont know if that affects my chances, and the reason my condom broke was because she was really dry. when my penis went in like 2 inches, it snap and we both imidiately pull out, after that i wash my self with alot of soap, i dont think that would help but i was freakout. thanks for your answers. i guess im just another stupid 18 yr old that is not gonna get to see 30, im like super scared of that. i guess getting a 4.0 in first yr of college doesnt mean anything when your making stupid decisions in real life.
a risk is a risk, although you realize your mistake you can't change things and the only reason you need to tell your GF is if you plan on having sex with her therefore putting her at risk...
When you do get tested for HIV you might as well get a full STD panel to ensure you didn't get anything else.
do you think, i was in a high risk? what are my chances of getting it? should i tell my parents or girlfriend, i dont know what to do, i just wish i can reverse time. how was i so stupid! please help
You test. Three months post exposure is when you can obtain a conclusive negative test result. You need to lean how to use a condom correctly.
