Oral Sex Query

Hi Experts,

A couple of days ago I was getting a massage and handjob, while getting the handjob the masseuse unexpectedly bends down and started performing oral sex. I was taken aback and after the initial shock, I stopped her. The oral sex lasted for only about 5 seconds or so. She then resumed the handjob after which I washed my private parts with soap. She had also licked my inner thighs. I am feeling a sense of unease physically. Please let me know the risk and whether I need to test?

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

Nothing else you can think of is a risk for HIV, including receiving oral sex.  In the 40+ year history of HIV, no one has ever contracted HIV from receiving oral sex.  You can forget about this event and move on.

Thanks for the super fast response. I was really traumatised by the unexpected act performed by the masseuse. After this incident, I called my Doctor friend who is a urologist and he said it is impossible to get infected through the experience I described. When I asked his opinion for PEP, he said I'm out of my mind. I just wanted a second opinion and your response has greatly eased my mind. I won't consider testing and will try and forget this episode. CurfewX, you have my gratitude.
