Oral sex while on PEP

Dear All,

I’ve been on PEP for 5 days now. Today I performed a very brief oral sex (not fully sucking) on a guy whose status I didn’t know. There was no ejaculation, though there might be some pre-cum in my mouth. I normally wouldn’t freak out over this, but one hour before the encounter, I had a pretty rough teeth cleaning at a dentist’s. My inflammed gum was still bleeding a bit. Would the oral sex ruin my PEP regimen? Do I have to start over?

What was your risk that you are on PEP?

It was unprotected anal dipping (briefly in an out 2-3 times). I freaked out and insisted that my partner put a condom on which he later did. I explained precisely this to the doctor. He did tell me that the risk was there but smaller as the exposure was rather brief. He prescribed me the PEP anyway.
Oral is not a risk for HIV, so it can't affect anything.
Even with very recent dental work?
No one got it from oral in 40 year HIV history, so likely they won't in the next 40 years of your life either.
