(PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER) Is there a chance I couldn’t catch hiv after anal sex??

A few weeks ago I had anal sex with a guy that’s well known for sleeping with a lot of females.. unprotected of course and his came in side back there.. now I’m having this feeling like I’ve caught HIV from him. He says he’s clean but I’m sure he doesn’t go to the doctor and yes it’s stupid of me to have unprotected anal sex with him but is there any way that I couldn’t be affected?.. also if he and myself doesn’t have the virus could I still catch HIV from his sperm being inside of my (butthole)??

Unprotected anal sex is among the highest risk activity for possible HIV infection, assuming your partner has HIV. If this happened a few weeks ago then it shouldn't be much longer to get to the post 28 days exposure timepoint, when you should take a 4th generation duo test for a conclusive result. If the guy doesn't have HIV then you had zero exposure and have nothing to worry about. If he does have HIV, it's not a guarantee that you'd get it, but there is a risk that you could. Which is why you should always use condoms every time. If your partner doesn't want to use condoms then you should reconsider whether it's worth putting yourself at risk.

Of course unprotected anal sex is a risk for hiv. If both of you dont have hiv, then u cannot get hiv.
But since u cannot confirm his status, i advice u to go get hiv test. Good luck
