does Lamivudine influence the window phase?

a friend, who got HBV and cancer, takes Lamivudine 100mg/day.
he had unprotected sex 3 months ago, and took the hiv check 1 week ago, the result is negative.
does Lamivudine influence the window phase? is he definitely negative?
thanks.
