Could HIV be transferred by contaminated medical equipment?

Excuse me. I went to the hospital because of hearing problem this morning.
My ear canal was bleeding when the doctor cleaning and inspecting it by syringe and oto-endoscope.
I am sure that the doctor had no sterilization on these equipments.
Just about one minutes after the last patient's examination, these equipments touched my ear and caught it bleeing
I have no idea the last patient has AIDS or not.
If he was infected and his ear canal was also bleeding, could this situation be dangerous for me?
Do I need to do a AIDS test?
Thanks for answering!

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

HIV is NEVER transmitted by objects, no matter what.  You had zero risk for HIV and there's no reason to test.
