Receiving oral

Hi

Is receiving unprotected oral sex / blowjob a risk for hiv?

This is probably not the first time you've been told this here at med help but the risks for HIV are if you have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV drug needles.  Oral sex is not a risk because air and saliva break down the virus and render it inactive.  So, receiving a blow job, unprotected, is not a risk for HIV.
