Protected Sex?

Dear Doctors, I had a sex with a sex worker three days ago.  During the course, no oral, no anal, I had only vaginal sex with her by using a condom.  Am I at risk of an AIDS infection or other STDs?

My wife is now pregnant for more than 9 months and we did not have any sex during this period.  That’s why I can’t help having sex…. My baby is scheduled to be born in the coming three weeks.  Really sorry for what I did and very nervous to face to my wife and the new baby… Can I touch them? I see the window period is 6+ weeks for AIDS or syphilis, and some other STDS….  Can someone help advice?

Protected sex is safe sex in regards to HIV. You had no risk of contracting HIV.  Please post in the std forum if you have questions about other STDs.
