Protected sex... yet worried

Hi,

12 days ago, I had protected sex with a woman of unknown status... Did not have oral. Just protected vaginal sex for a very short duration. My condom was surely intact.

I know it's of very low risk, but can't help thinking about thew quality of the condom. What if the condom leaked viruses while not leaking sperm?

I also feel a huge amount of guilt.

Did I really put myself at risk?

Thanks!

Protected sex is not a risk. Condoms don't leak viruses. The only ways HIV is spread are:
-Unprotected anal/vaginal penetrations.
-Sharing needles to inject drugs.
-Mother to child.

All the best.

This is not low risk, it's NO risk. Using a condom prevents most STD's including HIV. You have no reason to be concerned and should move on with your life. Always use condoms and you'll stay HIV negative for your entire life.

Guilt over your sexual activity does not cause disease. But guilt will make you crazy if you don't address it appropriately. If you're unable to do so, you need to seek therapy to help you overcome your issue.
